What the comparison looks for

Upload an earlier electric bill and a newer one. The preview reads the information it can identify and compares things such as bill totals, usage, and line items when those details are available on the bills.

The goal is to make the differences easier to find without making you compare every line by hand.

How to use the comparison

Start with the total change, then look at the individual differences the preview found. A higher bill can come from more than one change, so looking at usage, rates, fees, credits, and other bill details can provide more context than the total alone.

What to keep in mind

Bill reading is automated. A document that is blurry, incomplete, unusually formatted, or difficult to read can cause information to be missed or interpreted incorrectly. Compare important results with the original bills before relying on them.

What files can I upload?

The current tool accepts PDF, JPG, and PNG files up to 10 MB.
